Emerson Pilates is located in the heart of the Andersonville neighborhood in Chicago. Joan is the founder of Emerson Pilates and former studio manager/instructor of Sirron Pilates.
Pilates is a strength and conditioning methodology for people of all ages and abilities. Pilates practice enables students to build full body strength through low-impact exercises that target muscle groups in the body’s core and limbs. Through focused movements, you'll breathe, stretch, strengthen and align your muscles for greater core stability, improved posture and better balance. We advocate the benefits of Pilates practice, encouraging students to build strength, balance and confidence.
You will receive the utmost personalized attention. Sessions are taught at levels specific to your needs. You will finish each session feeling a sense of accomplishment and energized.
